The WTF Are You Watching?! Podcast (Action Movies)

You know that voice at the very beginning of every episode that asks the fateful question "What the fuck are you watching?" Well, that's Lincoln's betrothed, Rachel, and she is the special guest this week! She and Lincoln do a TV podcast called Set To Record, which you ought to listen to. This week, they discuss the senseless Taylor Lautner action "vehicle," Abduction, which has way more good actors in it than it should. Kyle talks about his recent excursion to WonderCon in Anaheim and the large amount of famous people from which he was ten feet away. Trailers get a-talking as well. It's been nearly two years, people; you know how the show goes.

This week, Kyle and Lincoln watch a movie they didn't realize had come out already, that being the Richard Gere and Topher Grace "Everybody's Working for the Russians" movie, El Dooblay (The Double). Also discussed are boob-covering shirts, the downsides of a movie most people love, and, of all things, the weather. Whatevs, you guys. Also, if you don't want any spoilers for Zero Dark Thirty, despite it being a true story, skip forward to minute 11 when that talk starts. Sorry, everyone.

After many weeks of specials, Kyle and Lincoln are back with a regular-ass bad movie, and heavens is it a terrible one. It's the meth-runners-in-airplanes "action" flick Kill Speed starring a former Backstreet Boy, two former child stars, a guy who should know better, and Tom Arnold for five minutes. Also discussed are the downside of having black sheets, the ways romantic comedies lie to us, and ways in which jets can run out of gas. Please enjoy our new theme song!

What happens when you try to resurrect someone twice? You get the cop/zombie action/comedy from the mid-80s, Dead Heat starring Treat Williams and Joe Piscopo. Kyle met another Doctor, Lincoln was in a movie, they both watched other stuff. Mostly, though, they get all up in this forgotten and forgettable little flick. Strap in, friends, because the finale of this film gets debated for a good (and heated) ten minutes. We invite you to make your own decision.

The fellas' patience and sanity are tested this week while watching the rape-and-violence flick, Nude Nuns with Big Guns. Not gonna lie; this one hurt.  Also discussed are recent tragic events, new movies, the greatness of Breaking Bad, communion wafers as snack food, naked heroin-weighers, and how Kyle would maintain good customer service tactics whilst helping a patron who was bleeding to death. This episode really lives up to the mantra as they watched a shitty movie so you don't have to.
